About us

Most business plans answer the question investors aren't asking.

Many business plans never make it from the analyst's desk into serious due diligence. The ones that do meet hard questions.

The natural response is to make the plan bigger: a larger market, higher prices, better margins, lower costs.

But that answers the upside question. Investors are just as focused on the downside: can this company protect what it builds, and defend its position long enough for them to earn a return?

  • Have you built real barriers to entry?
  • Do you own a niche others won't enter?
  • Can you lead your segment until your investors exit?

Leaders exit well. The fifth player in a category often struggles to exit at all.

Behind every tough diligence question is a simple one: is this the category leader, or the fifth player?
